Terms of Service
Ordering and Payment
You can order my editing services through the online order form or via email. Once I receive your instructions and necessary documents I will send an email to confirm your order and attach an invoice. Payment can be made at the point of ordering or after receipt of your completed document. Payment is required within 14 days after download of your completed document. The price quoted is based on the word count you give for your document, if this is found to be inaccurate, your invoice will reflect the word count as determined by my editing software, you will be liable for any increase in the quoted price and the full amount will be payable as per the terms set out above. Your document will be returned to the email address given by you at the time of ordering, it is your responsibility to ensure this address is correct.
Copyright and plagiarism
The copyright and intellectual property rights to your document remain with you (the author(s)) and by submitting a document to me you confirm that you are the rightful owner of the work and have permission from any other authors to submit the work for editing. You acknowledge that you remain solely responsible for ensuring you have not breached any anti-plagiarism or copyright laws, regulations or guidelines. Rosser-James Editing will not be liable for any loss as a result of any plagiarism or breach of copyright contained within a document I have edited.
For documents up to 5000 words I aim to return your completed document within 2 working days, for documents up to 10,000 I aim to return your completed document within 4 working days. (my working week is from Monday – Friday GMT). For longer documents, I will give you an estimated time when your document will be completed by, at the time you order. While I will do my best to stick to these time frames, I cannot guarantee your document will be returned within these times due to factors outside my control. In the event of a delay I will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible. I do not accept any liability for a failure to deliver on time or any consequential loss, but would issue a full or partial refund dependent on how late the document was returned, up to a maximum of the full fee.
If you wish to cancel your order once work has begun, you will be liable to pay for work completed up to that date on a pro-rata basis. If you cancel your order less than 24 hours before it is due to be returned, you will be liable for the full cost. Work will begin from the time that I send you confirmation of your order.
Rosser-James Editing strives to produce work of extremely high quality and aims to remove errors from your document to bring it up to the standard acceptable for publication. However, as a human, it is still possible to miss errors or introduce errors. Therefore, I cannot guarantee that your work will be 100% error free. But I do guarantee you will be 100% satisfied with the result (see below for my 100% satisfaction guarantee terms).
I aim to make your document of a standard acceptable for publication, but offer no guarantee that your work will be accepted for publication, as this depends on many other factors outside my control, most notably the quality and novelty of the work.
100% Satisfaction Guarantee
I am confident of the quality of my work and want you to be completely satisfied with the result. However, if you feel there is a problem with the document you receive, and you are not happy with the standard of work, once you have followed the procedures set out below, I will be happy to give you a full refund.
If you are not happy with the quality of the document received, you will need to contact me in writing via email within 14 days of receiving the email returning your document to you. I will then work with you to discuss and make further changes to correct any issues you have regarding your document. If after all additional work has been carried out, you are still dissatisfied with the quality of the document you have received, I will issue a full refund within 14 working days.
If you want to have your university assignment or dissertation proofread or edited, it is your responsibility to check with your university or supervisor that your university’s regulations allow you to do this. Rosser-James Editing takes no responsibility for course failure or other sanctions imposed by your university as a result of using my services. I also do not guarantee a pass or increase in grade as a result of using my services. For your own purposes, you are advised to seek written permission from your supervisor before using my services.
